Three principles

1. Don't raise money No investors means no pressure to inflate margins or grow unsustainably.
2. Minimal features Fewer features means lower maintenance costs — savings that are passed on, not pocketed.
3. Don't take a cut Charge only what it costs to operate. Nothing more.

Trust should be a verifiable fact, not a claim. Where we charge anything at all, we publish what it actually costs us to run the service — so cost increases have to be justified publicly, and growing usage makes things cheaper for everyone.
